Breeder Advertisements – One page ads can be created or added to the TPHA website. The ad itself would be about the size of a legal sheet of paper. Cats, Cows, and Computers, the TPHA website designer, can produce the ad in-house, or use one acquired from another source, typically a print magazine. Cost and ability to update/change information depends on the format in which we receive and have the material. Ads received in JPG, TIF, or PDF format ready to use are $100, payable to TPHA. Ads received in other formats or raw information will be charged at $150. These rates apply to a one year contract. Requests for changes to a breeder ad should be directed to the TPHA secretary/manager or Cats, Cows, and Computers.

Mini-Websites – Some breeders may want to provide more information about their herd than can be put in a one page advertisement. In this case, a small website can be built, with TPHA hosting the pages. A mini-site would be limited to 6 pages (introduction/contact, herd sires, donor cow/cowherd, calf crop, show/sale results and cattle for sale are good examples). The breeder would pay TPHA a one-time fee of $600 for the initial website. Any changes after the initial construction will be billed from and payable to Cats, Cows, and Computers. The breeder would be charged directly $25 in any month that he makes changes, as with a traditional site. A breeder’s changes would not be considered changes to the TPHA site, so TPHA would not be charged. A mini-website has the advantage of not paying for monthly maintenance fees to a hosting company and not paying for domain-registration fees. This would be a savings to the breeder of approximately $250 per year.
